The Defense Commissary Agency has extended the online ordering window for the upcoming case lot sale at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., to Jan. 21.

The upcoming case lot sale, Feb. 8 through 10, features more than 400 items available to purchase online before the actual case lot sale.

To order online, customers can logon to DECA's Guard and Reserve website at
www.commissaries.com/guard_reserve_sales.cfm, select "Order Now" under Homestead, and place their orders. Orders will be available for pickup at the sale, Feb. 8 through 10, during sale hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The online feature offers an expanded assortment of products, including beef, pork and chicken.

Truckloads of merchandise will be available to purchase onsite during the case lot sale. So for those who choose not to order online, there will still be plenty of items to purchase at the time of the sale. However, shoppers are strongly encouraged to order online.

The event, which brings groceries to servicemembers at a low cost, is located behind the Base Exchange Shoppette across the street from the base's Coral Sea Gate and is open to all servicemembers and dependants with a valid Department of Defense identification card.

Servicemembers are strongly encouraged to partake in these savings in order to bring future case lot sales back to Homestead Air Reserve Base.

Customers must present a valid Department of Defense identification card that authorizes commissary privileges in order to shop. Cash, checks, and debit and credit cards are accepted for payment. Manufactures' coupons will also be accepted. Shoppers are also encouraged to bring coolers.
