Airmen from the 482nd Maintenance Squadron at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., are currently performing repairs on an F-4 Phantom II static display. The F-4, which is displayed on U.S. Route 1 in Homestead, Fla., will receive more than 2,000 hours of structural maintenance, repairs, and paint work at Homestead ARB. Homestead Air Force Base utilized the F-4 from 1981 to 1989. Once the repairs and painting are complete, the static display will be returned to its pedestal in Homestead.
