HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. -- The Joint Hometown News Service brings service members and their friends and families closer together by composing and publishing the service member's personal career accomplishments in their hometown newspaper and online.
The Joint Hometown News Service produces a variety of print and electronic news products highlighting the accomplishments and worldwide activities of individual members of the U.S. armed forces. It doesn't matter what branch of the military you serve, or even if you are a civilian government employee.

The mission of the Joint Hometown News Service is to tell the American military story one service member at a time.
