Base schedules commissary case lot sale Published Feb. 10, 2014 482nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. -- Homestead Air Reserve Base will host a Defense Commissary Agency case lot sale April 3-5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. behind the Army and Air Force Exchange Service Express, commonly known as the shoppette. The case lot sale features truckloads of merchandise which will be available to purchase onsite. Online ordering will not be available for this sale. The event, which brings groceries to service members at a lower cost, is open to all service members and dependents with a valid Department of Defense identification card. The vast array of food items and products offer an average of more than 30 percent savings. Service members are strongly encouraged to partake in these savings in order to bring future case lot sales back to Homestead ARB. Customers must present a valid Department of Defense identification card that authorizes commissary privileges in order to shop. Cash, checks, debit and credit cards are accepted for payment. Manufacturer's coupons will also be accepted. Shoppers are encouraged to bring coolers.
