Team Homestead Appreciation Day features Miami Marlins, free lunch

HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE Fla. -- The Team Homestead Appreciation Day featured a free lunch, compliments of the Miami Marlins baseball team, and an autograph signing session at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., Feb. 13.

Also headlining the event was a U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. The Blackhawk touched down just outside the event, located at the new Community Activity Center.

During the appreciation day festivities, Marlins athletes signed autographs, Outdoor Recreation supplied bounce houses and a pitching station, and the 482nd Force Support Squadron prepared the free lunch for Team Homestead.
