Members of Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., and their spouses, are encouraged to complete a Unit Effectiveness Inspection Survey in order to highlight the good and the bad within their unit.

The survey is part of the new Air Force Inspection System to get an overall idea of base performance.

The information provided in the surveys is protected through Inspector General channels and none of the information will be released outside the IG.

An email was sent out to all members of the base with a link to the survey. Some of the questions were designed specifically for the member's spouses and they were encouraged to send them the link so they could participate as well.

"Your honest and candid answers mean a lot to the success of the new Air Force Inspection System," said Col. Chris Funk, commander of the 482nd Fighter Wing. "This is your chance to tell HQ AFRC/IG what you think about any issue(s). Inform us about what is working well and highlight what isn't working within your organization."

The survey will close at the end of the duty day on May 5.
