2014 Military Appreciation Day May 17

HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla -- The City of Homestead is once again hosting the 2014 Military Apreciation Day event on Saturday, May 17 from 3 - 8 p.m., in historic downtown Homestead at Losner Park.

This free event will have pleanty of live muisic, food trucks, static displays, vendors and plenty of family fun.

As part of the Military Appreciation event, the Homestead/Florida City Chamber of Commerce is holding a student essay and art contest. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners
