Itinerary overview for Family Day activities

Below is an overview of events for the Family Day, which will include a performance from Chris Tucker, actor and comedian, on Dec. 6 at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida.

Family Day Overview:

10:15 a.m. - Military members need to be in place for wing commander's call in the grassy area behind the Community Activity Center (CAC). Uniform of the day or the physical training uniform is required for sign in and the commander's call. Families are welcome to attend.

11:15 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. - Lunch will be held at the CAC and is open to military and their family members. Conservative civilian attire is authorized for military members at this point. Lunch will be free for Air Force enlisted members on unit training assembly status. Family members and officers can purchase lunch for eight to ten dollars.

1:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. - Kickball and basketball tournaments will be held at the Sam Johnson Fitness Center, dominoes and spades competitions will be held at the CAC. There will also be amusement rides, a gaming bus, a photo booth, static displays, a petting zoo, sponsor booths, informational booths and more.

4 p.m.- 6 p.m. - Members and families can head to the CAC for dinner service. Dinner will be free for Air Force enlisted members on unit training assembly status. Family members and officers can purchase lunch for eight to ten dollars.

6 p.m. - Tree lighting near tall flag behind buidling 353.

7 p.m.- 9:30 p.m. - Chris Tucker is scheduled to perform in the grassy area behind the CAC.
