New Deputy Staff Judge Advocate graduates top of class, wins award

New Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for the 482nd Fighter Wing Judge Advocate General, completed the Air Force's Judge Advocate Staff Officer Course at the top of his class.

Maj. Jeremiah Blocker recently graduated the course at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Blocker was awarded the Robert L. Lowry Award in recognition of his academic performance, leadership and esprit de corps.

The JASOC is designed to introduce new judge advocates to the career and the JAG Corps. Students study civil law, operations and international law, and military justice. They are also graded on two moot courts and a moot administrative board.
