As leaders here continually assess COVID-19 protection and mitigation measures, the 482nd Fighter Wing commander has updated guidance and policies regarding the installation’s COVID-19 control measures.

Effective May 14, 2021, the health protection condition at HARB, also known as HPCON, changed from Charlie to Bravo Plus.

What this means is:

  • All dependents and military retirees will now have access to the base
  • Comply with CDC guidelines
  • Maintain 6 feet physical distance whenever able
  • Vaccinated persons (at least two weeks beyond final dose) are no longer required to wear masks indoors or outdoors at DoD facilities
  • Unvaccinated persons will continue to wear a cloth face cover when indoors in a shared space, and outdoors when in public, whenever mission allows
  • Continue personal hygiene (soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or >60%alcohol hand sanitizer; avoid touching eyes/nose/mouth)

“During this past year I have been incredibly grateful to our Homestead Team, this includes members, mission partners, and our local community whose strong support to the 482nd FW has been outstanding” said Col. David Castaneda, 482nd FW commander. “Thank you for your patriotism, your dedication, your service to our nation and of course...welcome back to HARB!”
