As COVID-19 guidance continues to flow, the 482nd Fighter Wing will continue to provide updates. The base is still in Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Bravo in response to COVID-19. There are currently no confirmed COVID-19 cases at Homestead ARB.

HPCON Bravo includes the following actions:

  • Strict hygiene (frequent washing and or sanitizing hands, wiping common use items with disinfectant)
  • Covering mouths and noses with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing; staying home when sick
  • Practice social distancing and refrain from physical contact such as hand shaking, fist bumping, sharing food, etc.

For members assigned to HARB, please communicate personal risk, symptoms, if you plan to self-quarantine or have questions, to your supervision and the 482nd Fighter Wing Public Health at 786-415-7603.

It's only natural that the current CONVID-19 situation can cause stressful situations and if you are feeling worried or stressed, please don't hesitate to call our mental health officer anytime, 24-hours a day. Our mental health officer is: Ms. Veronica Sforza, LCSW, at 786-415-8888 (24-hours) or email: veronica.sforza@us.af.mil.

To help calm your fears, Ms. Sforza recommends visiting the following web sites: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/coping.html or https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/coronavirus-anxiety-running-so-high-all-my-therapy-patients-want-ncna1150126

If you do not have official business to conduct at HARB (e.g. employment, appointments, commercial deliveries, etc.), please refrain from coming to the base until further notice.

If you are able to Telework, it is highly encouraged that you do that.
