Aerial Porters keeping cargo rolling
Tech. Sgt. Angelino Basi, 70th Aerial Port Squadron, drives a 25,000-pound loader up to a C-17 Globemaster during training during the March Unit Training Assembly. The C-17 was flown to Homestead to serve as a static trainer to prepare aerial porters for future deployments. A large contingent from the 70th APS is currently deployed to Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, where they are directly supporting U.S. and Coalition ground forces. There, the reservists are loading and unloading military transport aircraft, tracking supplies and equipment, and processing passengers traveling in and out of Iraq. (U.S. Air Force photo/2nd Lt.
