Scobee nominated to lead AFRC

Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis announced that the president has nominated Air Force Maj. Gen. Richard W. Scobee for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and for assignment as chief of Air Force Reserve, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia; and commander, Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
