Mr. Katdo Robinson

Mr. Katdo Robinson is the Director of Staff, 482nd Fighter Wing, Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. As the Director of Staff, he is directly responsible for overall operational control of 19 fighter wing staff agencies. In conjunction with the wing commander, he plans, organizes, coordinates and directs the activities of the wing which affects over 2,500 Airmen, including 165 active duty Air Force active association personnel; more than 1,700 traditional reservists, over 280 Air Reserve Technicians and over 280 full-time civilians.
 
Mr. Robinson enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1987 as an Air Frame Repair Specialist assigned to Royal Air Force Base Upper Heyford, United Kingdom. In January 1992, he joined the Air Force Reserve and assigned to the 482nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Homestead Air Force Base, Fla. In October 1994, Robinson was selected as the 482nd FW Command Chief, advising the wing commander on matters influencing the health, morale, welfare, readiness, and effective utilization of more than 1,800 enlisted members of the wing. Prior to his current assignment, Robinson was the 482nd Maintenance Group Superintendent, Homestead ARB, Fla.
 
During his military career, Robinson has served in Operations Deny Flight, Tiger II, Northern Watch, Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom.
 
Mr. Robinson is a native of Montgomery County, Miss. In April 2021, he retired from the Air Force Reserve as a Chief Master Sergeant.
