U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team to perform at the Wings Over Homestead Air Show, Nov. 7-8

The United States Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team will showcase the jet's capabilities during the Wings Over Homestead Air Show at Homestead Air Reserve Base on Nov. 7-8.

The F/A-18 Super Hornet is a multi-role aircraft designed to attack air, ground and sea-based targets.

The aircraft demonstrated its proficiency and versatility during Operation Desert Storm, shooting down enemy fighters and then bombing their targets with the same aircraft on the same mission. The F/A-18 pilots and crews are currently supporting ground forces in  Iraq and Afghanistan.

F/A-18 Hornets are currently operating in 37 tactical squadrons worldwide and from 10 aircraft carriers. It is proudly flown by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron.
