An artisit rendering showcases the approved $4.5 million renovation of the current Homestead Air Reserve Base Fitness center slated to begin construction in May. The facility upgrades will include a 1,200 square feet expansion, new fitness rooms, a retail shop, a juice bar, steam rooms, massage room, an overhaul of the lighting, electrical systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, along with updating the exterior façade. A temporary gym will be available in the base shopette building.
