Homestead Veterans Day Parade
Four Air Force Reserve F-16’s assigned to the 93rd Fighter Squardon at nearby Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., kicked off the annual Homestead Veterans Day Parade with a beautiful flyover down Krome Avenue on Nov. 10.
Homestead Veterans of Foreign Wars post 4127 sponsored the annual Veterans Day Parade in historic downtown Homestead. This year Army Brig. Gen. 482nd Communications Squadron keep Wings Over Homestead air show online
Technical Sgt. Frank Hartely, 482nd Communications Squadron cyber transport non-commissioned officer in charge, verifies the Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC) network connections during the Wings Over Homestead Airshow Nov. 4. 482nd Communications Squadron keep Wings Over Homestead air show online
The Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC) system stands set up and active, providing a host of capabilities, including wired and wireless internet, satellite uplinks, radio connectivity, and video teleconferencing, during the Wings Over Homestead Air Show, Nov. 4. The JISSC was developed in response to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
