8/22/2012 - HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. -- From neurologists to podiatrists, the Air Force Reserve is always looking for health professionals who specialize in everything from head to toe.
For those individuals interested in a health profession and a career in the Air Force Reserve, Master Sgt. Angel "Ernie" Sacarello can fill your prescription.
As the new health profession recruiter, Sacarello services units from Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., down to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Sacarello, a native of Puerto Rico, has been in the recruiting game since 2001.
"I really enjoy helping people achieve their goals while at the same time supporting the Air Force mission," said Sacarello. "People looking to get into health professions with the reserves have a unique opportunity to both serve their country while continuing to serve their community with their civilian careers and practices."
While Sacarello stresses the intrinsic benefits to serving in a health profession with the Air Force Reserve, he doesn't want people to forget about the monetary benefits as well.
"This is also a great way to supplement your income, especially for doctors in their residency," he said. "There are student loan repayment plans of up to $160,000, bonuses, stipend programs, and education opportunities, not to mention the travel opportunities."
